Age – Groovie events, unless stated otherwise are 18+, anyone younger is required to be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them the whole duration of the show and no alcohol to those under 18. We may ask to see IDs.

Special Assistance – For performers & audiences with different abilities every effort is made that they can attend. Unfortunately, neither of our venues has a lift. Please let us know at least 24h in advance of any special assistance and seating arrangements are needed and we will do our best to help.

Attire – Venues websites give an idea of setting. Please dress appropriately. The dress code is casual smart – please respect this and other people around you who have made a lot of effort. Equally, respect personal space between guests – it may be different from the one you may be accustomed.

The Equality Act applies to all. Any bullying, harassment, verbal or otherwise will be investigated & authorities informed if required and appropriate.

Purchased tickets and need to change dates in emergency? Allowed as long as you let us know before the show commences or provide proof of that emergency.

Privacy Policy – Information Collection and Use

Performers & Hosts – Names, photos, bios, tel/emails, account details to book and pay them on receipt of invoices. Social media links & visuals are used in digital/printed marketing for respective shows when artists showcased. This is reviewed monthly and as per instruction from individuals who are freelancers. For any videos up to the duration of 20 seconds where jokes are drowned by music or voiceover, verbal permission applies. Anything longer, written permission.

This data is available to Groovie management and used for the purpose of promoting future events, showcasing that particular performer and is not distributed or shared further with any external parties. All data is deleted at the end of year by the administrator and new permission and invitation to renew membership with the club is sent to approximately 400 performers internationally who are regular and established with the club.

Customers – Ticketing platforms that we use depending on performer & host preference and promo methods include Design My Night, TimeOut, Groupon, Wowcher, Bucket, NHS internal portal, Key Workers (Carers, Transport staff National Rail/Transport for London, Teachers) internal portals, Jokepit, Yotta, Wegottickets, Outsavvy & Eventbrite – their privacy policies apply (names, emails) with optout option from further emails. They are all with hyperlinks in our calendar in SHOWS tab.

Ticket on the door available too – worth checking as we do sell out if a big name on the line up.

All events carry ‘filming in progress’ banner and opt out option of seating outside of camera lenses for those who do not wish to be photographed.
